Dave Mortensen, professor of weed ecology, hosted "Hands-on collection, identification, and preservation of plants," for the 14th annual conference of the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture, held earlier this month at University Park. The workshop demonstrated how to record the biodiversity of Pennsylvania plants, fields, and pastures. Here, Mortensen shows participants how a technical document can also make a beautiful display piece.
