"There is no other facility of this caliber in Pennsylvania, and there are only a handful in the country," says Steven Fonash, director of the Penn State Nanofabrication Facility. This state-of-the-art facility offers a two-year degree program in Nanofabrication Manufacturing Technology to students of selected Pennsylvania community colleges, and a certificate program for graduates of the state-supported four-year colleges.
