Art and science are harmoniously wed in the work of husband-and-wife duo Rebecca Horwitt, artist, and Peter Wilf, Penn State paleobotanist. Their creative collaborations lead us on a journey back in time to the last days of the dinosaurs. "The challenge of paleoillustration," says Horwitt, "is using scientific knowledge to create a plausibly realistic representation of plants or animals without the benefit of a living model."
