James Collins, Art Director of Research/Penn State since September 1996, has contributed countless photographs from his archive, as well as many commissioned by R/PS. He specializes in studio shots and environmental portraits, but also shot one of our most popular covers, "Autumn in Rebersberg," in December 1984.

Professor of Art Gerald Lang and Jennifer Tucker’s work in the Penn State Digital Photography Studio is sponsored by the Eastman Kodak Company, Calumet Photographic, and Megavision. They and their students have contributed several series of digital photos, including the popular cover, "Bouquet," in September 1999.

Illustrator Nathan Wagoner of Room2 Design began contributing to R/PS in 1994. Nathan gets all the difficult assignments on dark, angst-ridden topics. He also designed this website.

Scott Johnson, staff photographer at University Publications, has contributed some memorable portrait series and several mesmerizing covers, including "Eating MisBehavior" in June 1995.

Jeff Mathison, of Archaeological and Historical Consultants Inc., has been drawing illustrations for R/PS since 1983. He specializes in maps and diagrams, as well as occasional watercolors.

Charles Fergus, associate editor of R/PS from 1980 to 1984, has contributed numerous nature shots over the years, including the March 1995 cover, "Trees in Winter."
