Beyond Earth

A Special Report from the 2003 Penn State Lectures on the Frontiers of Science

The following articles report on six free public lectures given on consecutive Saturdays between January 25 and March 1, 2003, by scientists and educators with firm opinions on the need for humanity to break the bounds of Earth and venture into space. Speakers in the series were Pat Dasch; Pascal Lee; Christopher Shinohara and Heather Enos; James Pawelczyk; James Burke; and Robert Zubrin. The Special report is also available as a single PDF file.
